Keeper Situation

Rather than sign another defender I think we should be looking to sign a top class keeper. I dont think the present incumbent is of the quality required.
Petre Cech on loan anybody?

Adrian did well yesterday and is a good shot stopper generally.
All keepers make mistakes but I agree with OP that we should get better than him.

He doesn't fill me with confidence and has a lot to improve on - but had one of his better games yesterday and hopefully the more he grows in confidence the better he'll become.
He is likeable which means hopefully the crowd will give him a bit more time to gain experience and improve.

Don't rate him at all but he had an excellent game yesterday
Great to see him come and claim a cross when they had a corner deep into injury time not seem him do that since he's got here

looks like alot of us are unsure about Adrians abilities, but he has proven me wrong over and over again. The mistakes are out of his system and im willing to let him be our first choice as long as he continues to play like he has for us. He was the goalkeeper with most cleensheets last year. That must mean something?

Adrian had a very decent game today. Last weeks so called fuck up was a lot to do with him getting shoved.
He's getting far too much stick for making the odd error in this seasons opening games.We should be careful what we wish for.

Adrian was excellent today. Couple of great saves, good catching from crosses, only the odd dodgy kick to worry about.

But why of all the brilliant young and older goalkeeper coaches did we chose Mimmsy.
I am sure he is as good as some and better than others.
It is however clear to most of us that the training.coaching and staffing of our set up is inwealdy with a suspect focus.
Anyhow do us proud Mimmsy and sort out the systems.

Love Adrian's passion but the guy is an accident waiting to happen. people say he is young and still learning, the guy is 28????
Cech would never come and we wouldnt match his wage
Vorm at Spurs maybe but think Lloris will go in January so wont be much chance of getting him
Quite like Marshall at Cardiff or what about the forgotten England man Butland at Stoke????

Ideally we need an extra senior Goaldefender,aged in his late 20s,
mature enough to boss his box and to organise his co defenders.
He needs to be 6' 03" + tall,a good communicater and leader,
concentration is a prime requirement as is athleticism and agility..
anyone here care to add to the requirements
